PREVIEW: North & Scotland league Division 2 play-off

The one remaining League title in the 2019 Cycle Speedway season, the North & Scotland League Division 2 Championship, will be decided on Sunday in a play-off at Cramlington Raceway, the home of the Northumbria Vikings and it will bring together the defending champions Fife Revolution and Astley & Tyldesley with Team Green looking to complete the treble of League Championships having already won the Division 1 & 3 titles.
Their head to head matches both went to last heat deciders, with the home team victorious on each occasion. Fife won 62-57 at the Fastbowl, with Astley winners by 60-56 at Gin Pit.
The last time that the Division 2 championship was decided by a play=off was in 2014 when Fife’s Scottish counterparts the Edinburgh Falcons defeated Sheffield 79-70 in a match that was also staged at Cramlington.
