CLUB NEWS: New Sponsorship Boost for Hull

Hull Cycle Speedway Club are delighted to announce a new two-year sponsorship deal with the Hull based pharmaceutical packaging company MEDI-Clear Ltd.

The new deal comes as the Hull team prepare for the 2020 season in which they are aiming to better their runners-up spot in the 2019 North and Scotland League.

Hull team boss Andy Schofield explained. “We are really pleased to have MEDI-Clear on board for the next two years. This new 4-figure deal will help fund track improvements, new team kit and junior training sessions.”

MEDI-Clear manufacture packs for prescriptive medicines and provide them to pharmacies, care homes, hospitals, doctors dispensing surgeries, veterinary practices and other institutions. They also manufacture labelling to aid patient information and prescription details.

Mr Schofield added, “We are very grateful to MEDI-Clear’s Managing Director, Paul Hogan for backing the club. We also would like to take this opportunity to wish a long and happy retirement to our previous sponsor, Barry Ashton of Kingston Cycles for the support over the past 30 years – probably the longest running and most successful sponsorship in the sport.”

New riders are always welcome at the Hessle raceway and anyone wishing to join in can attend training nights which begin again on Tuesday February 11. Juniors sessions from 6pm and seniors at 7-30pm, weather and track conditions permitting.
