NEWS: Derek Garnett’s Funeral arrangements

Ben Higham has posted the following information on Facebook’s “I was (or still am) a Cycle Speedway Rider” regarding the funeral of his grandad Derek Garnett:

“Just to let people know some information regarding Derek Garnett’s funeral. It will be on Wednesday 24th March at 10:30am and it will be live streamed if people want to watch and pay there respects that way. This isn’t ideal as we would of loved to see people there but due to the pandemic this is unfortunately our only option. Rather than flowers being sent to pay respects it’s the families wish that it will be family flowers only, so we have set up a donations page to British Heart Foundation as they are looking into ways to fight vascular dementia
