CLUB NEWS: Hull stage presentation night

The Hull Cycle Speedway Club recently held their social and presentation night at The Hessle Rugby Club next to the track. The season was a successful one with the senior team winning the Yorkshire League, the under 10 & under 13 team winning the North & Scotland (North) Division three title and there was als/o success in The Northern Grand Prix League with riders from all age groups combining to take the team title.

The event was well attended and annual awards were made for the Presidents Trophy to Spencer Glenton as ‘The most improved rider’, for the Committee’s Choice to Rich Gibson as ‘The most improved senior rider’ and to Diane Bellis as Club Member of the Year. Jayden Bennett was given a special award for fundraising and volunteers received presents with Diane Bellis and Andy Schofield also receiving gifts from the club members.
