NEWS: Aris calls for one minute applause

Wednesfield’s Wayne Aris has called for all clubs to participate in a one minute applause in memory of two Cycle Speedway greats, Dave Hunting and John Whiting, who have passed away suddenly in recent weeks.

Writing on Facebook, Aris urged clubs to pay their respects to Dave and John at their first regional meeting over the next few weeks.

We wholeheartedly agree that it would be a fitting tribute to two great ambassadors for our sport and hope that all clubs fulfil the gesture.
