RESULT: Great Britain 95 – 84 Australia

There was certainly no repeat of the whitewash down under, as the GB men powered their way to a first round victory by 95-84. Mark Boaler used all of his skill, craft and power to earn himself a magnificent maximum, with a fine display.

It was a disciplined performance from the home nation, restricting Australia to only two heat advantages.
